James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich from the thrash metal group Metallica founded the band in 1981. The group is well known to be one of the so called Big Four bands, alongside Slayer, . The band has been touring around the globe for decades. Recently, the group published their 10th studio album "72 Seasons" in 2023. The album is as heavy as ever and Metallica is still leading the metal scene even after all those years. 

This American thrash metal band has received an impressive 10 Grammy Awards in 26 attempts. As well as these awards their albums have been selling like hotcakes around the world and have been able to garner the sales of over 163 million albums world wide. With a huge following and a huge influence on the world of music, the band has earned their place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, being inducted in 2009. In fact the band holds a record with the Guinness World Records for being the first group to play on all 7 continents.

The Sphere is a revolutionary new entertainment venue located at 255 Sands Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89169. This means you can grab a hot fresh pizza in just 3 minutes at one of the concession stands throughout the venue. You can also grab a large custom made Meat burger at another of the venues many restaurant styled concession stands. And if that were not enough, there are also large classic ballpark style hot dogs available as well as a large selection of craft cocktails and fine wines to choose from.

Parking Information

As The Sphere does not have a large parking lot, guests can reserve parking for their event on The Sphere's website. On-Site parking will cost approximately $45-$75 per car. There is also self-parking and valet parking available at The Venetian Resort and at The Wynn Las Vegas. Both have a walking bridge to The Sphere. There is also Rideshare pick up and drop off on The Sphere's 3rd Street. Additionally, there is street parking and many lots throughout the Las Vegas area.
