The Wizard of Oz Film Experience at Las Vegas’ groundbreaking new venue The Sphere on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 is not to be missed! This extraordinary new version of the 1939 film classic that has become a staple of cinema is presented in a hypnotic film experience utilizing the latest technology at the world’s most advanced venue.
Follow Dorothy on her incredible journey as she travels down the Yellow Brick Road and relive some of the films most incredible and spectacular scenes. Over 80 years after the film was released the songs from The Wizard of Oz remain some of the most recognizable in the world including ‘Over the Rainbow’, ‘Follow the Yellow Brick Road’ and ‘Ding-Dong! The Witch is Dead’. This hypnosis is further induced with the incredible depth of Judy Garland’s performance and combined with The Sphere’s incredible technology the experience of The Wizard of Oz – Film Experience will be a truly sensory one. The Wizard of Oz – Film Experience also recognizes The Wizard of Oz’s many Academy Award wins including Best Original Score and Best Original Song and is also a member of the National Film Registry, a collection of films that are preserved by The Library of Congress for being ‘culturally, historically or aesthetically significant’ and is part of America’s rich cultural heritage.
The Wizard of Oz Film Experience will be held at The Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Sphere is located at 6365 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119. The Sphere has a massive LED screen that goes from side to side and back to front of the viewing area. The viewing area was designed with the best seating for all guests, and The Sphere can hold 18,600 people with seating in many different viewing angles. The haptic seating will allow guests to feel what is going on in the film, and the sound system is directional, meaning that guests will be able to hear where the sound is coming from.
