Step right up for the Wizard of Oz in an immersive film experience on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at The Sphere in Las Vegas! An innovative, all-new interpretation of the beloved 1939 film. Join Dorothy on her classic journey down the Yellow Brick Road in a 75 minute 4D presentation where every scene and action is experienced in its purest form.

All of the beloved songs from the 1939 film including “Over the Rainbow,” “We’re Off to See the Wizard,” and “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” will be played through 167,000 of Sphere’s finely-tuned highly-engineered speakers. The classic film has been updated with many new scenes and presented in the highest quality of High Definition in an unprecedented 16K on Sphere’s 160,000 sq. ft. screen in a way you have never experienced before. The Film Experience also includes many other elements of immersion such as the scent of poppies in the flower fields, the high-velocity wind from the tornado, infrasound haptics felt in every haptic seat throughout the production and many other environmental effects that pull you from your home in Kansas to the land of Oz.

The film was awarded Academy Awards for Best Original Score and for Best Original Song for “Over the Rainbow”.

With the world’s largest internal display surface of 160,000 square feet of LED screen, displayed around the entire venue, with incredible 16K resolution.

Approximately 10,000 of The Sphere’s 18,600 seats are equipped with haptic technology providing guests with physical sensations in real time throughout the 75 minute experience. The remaining seats will still experience an immersive film experience with all of the other effects. There are seats with disability accommodations throughout the venue, and staff are happy to help accommodate your needs as well. 

The concession stands at The Sphere, located throughout the Atrium, will serve pizza, burgers, hot dogs, candy, specialty cocktails, wine and beer. The Sphere is connected to The Venetian Resort via pedestrian bridge and dining options are available before and after the show at The Venetian Resort and at The Wynn Las Vegas, which are within walking distance.

Specially marked parking is available at The Sphere for guests. In addition, guests can also park at The Venetian Resort or Wynn Las Vegas and take a short walk to The Sphere. There are also many parking lots and street parking options throughout the Las Vegas area and guests can use a ride share service or public transportation to arrive at The Sphere.
